Briefly describe your new job opportunity.
"Following a successful summer internship at the Catholic Apostolate Center, I transitioned into a remote part-time role during my senior year, ultimately securing a full-time return offer. In my current capacity, I assist in managing core administrative operations and support the development and optimization of digital resources, which has provided me with deep strategic insights into the nonprofit sector."
How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?
"My business education at Catholic University has been instrumental in my transition to this role. For example, the web development skills I developed in my marketing classes have allowed me to take a much more strategic approach to managing our online resources. Additionally, my courses in operations management have helped me streamline our administrative processes, while business ethics and international business have given me the macro-level perspective needed to ensure our digital footprint aligns with our core mission and reaches a diverse audience."
What activities were you involved in during undergrad?
"Club ice hockey, SGA treasury board, Dean's student advisory council."
What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?
"Playing hockey, studying abroad, Bridging the Climate Gap trip in Mexico City, CUA on tap, CUA on Wall Street, World Bank trips."
What advice do you have for students during their job search?
"Your network is the most important thing in a job search. Go to every career fair and networking night to meet new people, even if you have a job."
