Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"At Chubb, I will be a part of a structured training program designed to provide hands-on exposure to underwriting responsibilities such as evaluating risk profiles of current and prospective clients, preparing and structuring insurance quotes and coverage, and managing relationships with select brokers and internal teams."

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"By triple-specializing in Sales, Data Analytics, and Operations Management at the Busch School of Business, I gained a strong, well‑rounded foundation in how organizations operate and make decisions. Through Data Analytics and Operations Management, I learned how to evaluate information, understand processes, and think critically about outcomes. The Sales Program further strengthened my client‑facing capabilities, helping me to communicate value and build meaningful relationships. I’m excited to step into this Associate Underwriter role where I can blend analytical thinking and relationship-building skills to evaluate A&H risks and protect clients from potential exposures."

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"Catholic University Women's Soccer Team, Busch School Ambassador, Busch School Mentor."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"Studying abroad at our Rome Campus, playing Division III Women's Soccer, placing 3rd in the Upperclassmen Sales Competition, and having the opportunity to grow academically through professors who brought real-world insight into the classroom and encouraged deeper thinking."

What advice do you have for students during their job search? 

"Take time to understand what motivates you, what kind of environments you thrive in, and what kind of role aligns with your strengths. Research the industries and roles that genuinely interest you, and don't be afraid to reach out to industry professionals who can offer insight. Be proactive and stay curious!"
