The Tim and Steph Busch School of Business

Busch School of Business graduates should arrive to Maloney Hall at 8:30 A.M. for check-in and registration. They will process in two lines, in any order at 9:30 A.M for the university commencement ceremony. Graduates are expected to wear their cap and gown, and carry their hoods on their left arm. Wear your tassel on the right while processing in. The ceremony will begin at 10 A.M.

Time & Location

For The Busch School of Business Diploma Ceremony, families and guests are invited to join us under the tent in McMahon Parking Lot in between Caldwell Hall and Hannan Hall. The ceremony will begin immediately following the main ceremony at 11:45 A.M. 

Seating

Parents and families do not need tickets, as seating will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please be courteous to our older guests and families with small children.

Procession

Following the main ceremony, graduates should gather immediately behind McMahon Hall to line up in their assigned order. Each graduate will receive a wristband day-of indicating their seat placement.

Commencement

After the faculty and graduates process into the ceremony, we will continue with the opening prayer, student speech, and the conferral of degrees.

Class Photo

Immediately following check-in in the morning, students will gather on the steps of Maloney Hall for a Busch School Class of 2019 picture.

Individual Photos

The photos of our Busch School graduates will be taken by a professional photographer and will be available for sale. We will contact the graduates directly when the photos are available this summer. Here is the link to the photographer's website.

Reception

Parents and families, please join us for a reception in Maloney Hall immediately following The Busch School Diploma Ceremony. Graduates will receive their diplomas here as well. Graduates, please come with a photo ID (Cardinal Card, driver’s license) to pick up your diploma.
