The MBA program requires 36 credits to complete the degree, and can be completed in just 9 months. The cost is $1,385 per credit hour. The International Capstone Experience, a unique opportunity to travel abroad during the program, incurs additional fees.What type of classes can I expect?

For the Fall 2025 semester, please arrive by August 18th, 2025. Our mandatory orientation takes place a week before classes begin. Orientation week requires full-day participation on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Orientation includes team building exercises, program preparation, and a boat-cruise networking event with Busch School Alumni.What are the 4+1 and MSB-to-MBA pathways?
In addition to the primary MBA pathway, we also offer a 4+1 pathway for those interested in pursuing the MBA alongside their undergraduate degree to earn their bachelor’s and MBA in 5 years total. The MSB-to-MBA pathway is an option for existing Catholic University students with an MSB degree to convert their degree to an MBA.What are the details of the International Capstone Experience?
For the spring 2026 semester, the designated destination is Rome, Italy. This location is subject to change.Students will travel to Rome during their spring break and complete this 1.5 credit course while being immersed in the local culture and business practices. An additional tuition fee of $1,975 applies to this course. Students will arrange and provide their own travel to the destination.
What are the details of the internship requirement?
Each student is required to have an internship experience during the program to enhance their learning and career prospects.- Obtaining an internship: Don't worry, we have a dedicated team of Career Development professionals that will give you the training needed to not only obtain an internship, but also to launch your career when you graduate. It is the student's responsibility to acquire an internship, but you will have the support needed to succeed.
- What qualifies? A resume-worthy professional experience during your MBA studies or during the summer before your MBA studies begin. Typically, 120 hours of an internship or relevant part-time employment will qualify. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
- Schedule: MBA fall courses are purposefully scheduled to have mornings free and no classes on Fridays, so that our students can attend their internships.
- Athletics: Current division 3 athletes at Catholic University can use their athletic commitments to satisfy the internship requirement. We will work with your coach to have you take on business related responsibilities for your team, so that your experience becomes resume-worthy.
How do I enroll in classes?
After you have submitted your enrollment deposit, you will receive instructions for accessing your Cardinal Students account. Use this account to find and register for all of the core courses listed in the curriculum page and the specialization course(s) that is required for your chosen specialization. What is the dress code?

The MBA is undergoing the I-17 process. If approved, it will be STEM designated with the CIP Code: 52.1399 -“Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods, Other.”Are Graduate Assistantships available at the Busch School of Business?
No, there are no GA positions at the Busch School of Business currently.What if I already applied to the MSB?
All MSB admitted students will be allowed to either pursue the MSB or transfer to the MBA program during academic year 2025/2026. The standard tuition and credit requirements for both programs are the same. However, the MBA program requires an additional fee of $1,975 for the international capstone course and the student is responsible for his/her travel to the international destination.Additional Questions?
