High-level Partners Join Busch School of Business Sales Partnership Program
(Washington, D.C.) The Catholic University of America’s Busch School of Business is pleased to announce that several high-level companies have joined the Sales Partnership Program. This program is designed as an opportunity for businesses to partner in the mission of the Busch School Sales Program to educate and train students to compete ethically in the world of selling.
Varonis, DLT, immixGroup, memoryBlue, Active Navigation and NetApp have already shown their enthusiasm and support by becoming the first sales partners of the program. While all companies are welcome to recruit and interact with CUA’s sales students, these corporate partners are given special consideration during planned student events and classroom experiences. They will also have the opportunity to provide advice in the planning of the Sales Program curriculum and activities.
As a veteran executive with over 30 years of experience in technology sales and engineering, Sales Program Head and Catholic University Professor Mark Weber will oversee the process of selecting students and pairing them with businesses that fit their strengths. He offers an inside perspective on the benefits that the Business Sales Partnership Program offers to both students and businesses, “Starting this sales partnership program is a major achievement for such a young business school and I’m tremendously grateful for the support from our inaugural sales partners! This program will enhance the real-world learning experience of our students and provide companies with well-trained, well-formed, next-gen leaders in the sales industry they can trust — a trust built on relationships this program is uniquely qualified to form and strengthen. Interest among potential partners is surging, signaling that this entrepreneurial initiative has significant, mutually beneficial momentum.”
Dean Gonsowski, the Chief Revenue Officer at Active Navigation, exclaimed, “Active Navigation is extremely excited to formalize our partnership with Catholic University. To date, we’ve been very successful recruiting graduates for our Sales, Marketing and Business Development positions and in fact, we have seven alumni and one graduate student working for us in our Reston, VA headquarters. Given this positive track record we’re doubling down on our CUA recruitment efforts and hope this formalized partnership will help us find even more candidates as we expand our global, enterprise software business.”
DLT says about the new partnership, “We are excited about our partnership with Busch School of Business because we are looking for the very best talent to achieve our company’s mission and overall success. We are looking to help employees accelerate their careers while transforming our future and we have seen nothing but strong candidates come from Catholic University!”
memoryBlue proudly announces their partnership with The Catholic University of America’s Sales Program stating, “The values showcased by both faculty and students of the Busch School of Business are contagious, and our sales leaders are thrilled to continue memoryBlue’s support of collegiate Sales Programs nationwide by working directly with such an inspirational and local Sales Program."
As a new sales partner, Varonis issued the following statement inviting Catholic University sales students to join their team, “Busch School Sales Program students are smart, driven and ready to do great things — we know because we’ve recently hired many of them for full-time positions.
