Assistant Director of Family Business Consortium

Francisco J. Lara is the Assistant Director of the Family Business Consortium, an Associate Professor at The Busch School of Business who specializes in Talent Management, Entrepreneurship and International Business, and also a tenured Ordinary Professor of Management at the Catholic University of Valencia where he also served at Vice President of International Relations.

Prof. Lara's academic interests lay at the area of Talent Management, Family Business and Entrepreneurship. His current work explores the relations of entrepreneurship coopetition of talent management within the startups, family business and incubators ecosystems, with a focus on cross-cultural management similarities and differences.

Prof. Lara holds a Juris Degree in Business Law from the University of Navarra (Spain), an Executive Master Degree in Human Resource Management from Garrigues Law School, an Executive Program of Leadership in Public Management from IESE Business School in Madrid, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Universidad Politécnica of Valencia (Spain).
