Jimmy Cassidy, MSB '20, has accepted a position as a Principle Consultant at Infinitive in Ashburn, VA. Below, Jimmy shares his experiences in the program, and how it helped him to find his future:

Why I Joined the Program

"I joined the MSB program after graduating with a bachelor's degree in media & communications because I saw it as a great opportunity to make me a more dynamic candidate in the workforce. The program's course list and overall layout excited me in combining a communications background from undergrad and a more technical, problem-solving approach that would hopefully lead me to succeed in whatever industry I entered."

How the Program Helped Me Find My Career Path

"I was very grateful that the MSB program had a career-focused foundation from day one in exposing the class to many different kinds of business industries from marketing to sales to project management. Career development courses and company site visits helped me form ideas about what I really wanted to pursue in terms of work after graduation. In addition, the program has a diverse network of alumni relationships and business connections that ultimately led myself and several classmates to obtaining great positions after graduation."

My Highlights of the Program

"Company site visits and professional discussions at our "Thirsty Thursday" sessions definitely come to mind in terms of program highlights because we got to see, experience, and learn from some fantastic business leaders and industry experts. There were so many "out of the classroom opportunities" provided by the program that made it feel like so much more than a regular graduate degree. Finally, the class trip to New York City is a top highlight not only as a class bonding experience but a comprehensive look and tour of one of the world's most notable cities when it comes to business."
