Justus Vorwerk, MSB '20, has accepted a position as a a Sales Development Representative at Versa Networks. Below, Justus shares his experiences in the program, and how it helped him to find his future:

Why I Joined the Program

"I joined the MSB program because I wanted to pivot to a career in business, however, I was not sure in which direction or facet of business I was most interested in. The opportunity to explore and learn about various areas of business from professionals who worked in those capacities is what really appealed to me when making my decision to join the MSB program. The ability to learn about Sales Management, Quantitative Analysis, Accounting, Marketing and many other fields gave me an understanding of business that I previously did not possess."

How the Program Helped Me Find My Career Path

"The program not only provided me with the opportunity to learn hard skills and test them in the classroom but also actively encouraged and facilitated testing those skills further in a professional business environment. Through the combination of my internship experience and the amazing career development team that the MSB program provided to us, I was able to make an informed decision on how I wanted to start my career."

"What stands out to me the most from my experience of the program was the people. The professors, students and staff I was able to engage with and learn from on a day to day basis was incredible. I can say with confidence that I made lasting friendships and learned more than I could have imagined over a 9 month period. I believe that joining the MSB program has not only been an invaluable career decision but also one that resulted in a lot of personal growth."
