Sarah Diamond, MSB '21, has accepted a position as the Deputy Director of Operations at Whistleblower Aid in Washington D.C. Below, Sarah shares her experiences in the program, and how it helped her to find her future:

Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"Performing daily non-profit operations, like financial and administrative duties as well as managing board members and interacting with donors."

Why did you join the MSB Program?

"I wanted a Master's program that would not only enhance and enrich my political science degree but set it in motion with the numerous tools and trades of business that supplement it."

How did the MSB Program help you find this career path?

"The MSB Program supplemented the business backbone and operational framework needed to turn my passions and undergrad degree into a realistic and sustainable career."

What were some highlights of your time with the program?

"Through the professional approach and personalized touch of the faculty and staff, we received a firsthand look at the inner workings of business when we all had to adapt to learning and interning during COVID-19."

What advice do you have for students during their job search?

"Don't lose sight of your passions or goals, but be open to entering other areas that can help you hone those passions. Your dream job doesn't have to be your first job.
