Valeria Barreto, MSB '21, has accepted a position as a Principal Consultant at Infinitive in Ashburn, VA. Below, Valeria shares her experiences in the program, and how it helped her to find her future:

Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"Business consulting for the various companies Infinitive serves. I am excited to work in teams and complete projects that last anywhere from 2-6 months. "

Why did you join the MSB Program?

"To gain the tools and knowledge that are important in building a meaningful career." 

How did the MSB Program help you find this career path?

"Networking, excellent class content, awesome guidance from professors and the career services staff, especially Marykate."

What were some highlights of your time with the program?

"Getting to learn from great professors who are experts in their field. Making meaningful connections with my peers, companies, and business leaders."

What advice do you have for students during their job search?

"Always have an open mind. I wasn’t even considering being a consultant, but I kept my mind open and learned more about the career and found it was the right fit for me. "
