Kathleen Brophy, MSB '19, has accepted a position as a Principal at Infinitive. Below, Kathleen shares her experiences in the program, and how it helped her to find her future:

Why I Joined the Program

"I needed business skills and direction. I left a job where I couldn't grow any further and I didn't know what I wanted to do next. I knew I wanted to make a difference in the world and that I needed business skills to do that. The MSB Program offered me the direction and the business skills I needed to make the world a better place. "

How the Program Helped Me Find My Career Path

"The MSBA delivers more than career-preparedness. The MSB Program gave me the skills, mind, vision, examples, network, and opportunities I needed to become the person I want to be. I eventually want to start my own small for-profit business that addresses a specific social challenge. The MSBA Program positioned me for a great next step by connecting me with Infinitive and a consulting position. I did not know consulting existed before the program, but thanks to the MSB company visits and networking, I've found a position and company I love that can move me forward in my life goals."

My Highlights of the Program

"The professors, staff, and cohort were professionally excellent and delightful to work with. The opportunities were very hands on and complemented each other well. I loved having an insider tour of the Supreme Court and then having our business law class on the steps because our professor is a member of the Bar. The hands on 'lemonade stand' and 'food truck simulation' exercises were engaging and delightfully competitive. My internship at AARP Foundation was very engaging and meaningful. The opportunities they gave me coupled with the knowledge the MSB Program taught me allowed me immediately to develop skills and habits to be exceptional in business. "
