John Cannon

Distinguished Fellow

John Cannon is the founder of SENT, a network of Catholic founders and executives seeking to grow their ventures and faith. Prior to starting SENT, John lived as Carmelite monk, where he prayed, taught spirituality, and worked in a variety of ministries. Before entering the monastery, John was an investment banker for Wells Fargo, ran a boutique management consulting practice, and served a political appointment as Policy Advisor to the Governor of Alabama.

John received a BBA (Finance) and BA (Political Science) from the University of Notre Dame, a Masters in Politics & International Relations from Oxford University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA in Philosophy from Mount Angel Seminary and an MA in Theology from Franciscan University Steubenville. He currently resides in Washington, D.C., which he likes to escape for long hikes.
