Lauren Bendo, CatholicU '25, is an Accounting and Sales student from Garnet Valley, PA. She accepted a job as an Audit Associate.
Briefly describe your new job opportunity.
"At the conclusion of my internship at PwC this August, I received a full-time return offer as an Audit Associate in the Philadelphia office. I will have completed my 150 credit hours upon graduation and will sit for the CPA exam."
How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?
"My professors at the Busch School were crucial in the process of applying and interviewing for internships. With their guidance and support, I was able to secure several internship offers during my sophomore year. The Busch School offered countless opportunities to explore careers in various industries, and through these events I was able to find the path that was best fit for me."
What activities were you involved in during undergrad?
"I am member of the Women's Lacrosse, a Sales Program Ambassador, Busch School mentor, Morgan's Message Ambassador, and a Teaching Assistant at the Busch School of Business"
What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?
"Catholic offers a perfect balance of academics and athletics for student athletes. I am grateful to have been able to pursue a high level education, while competing in competitive athletics. Getting to be a part of the community at both the Busch School and the athletics program has been the highlight of my time at Catholic."
What advice do you have for students during their job search?
"Be proactive in your job/internship search! Do your research on your industry and be well prepared when it comes time to apply and interview. Take advantage of all of the recruiting and networking opportunities even when you are an underclassmen, to gain valuable career experiences!"
