How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"My education at the Busch School and Catholic University helped me find this career path by giving me hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and relationship-building. Courses like Professional Selling and my involvement in networking events gave me the confidence and skills to pursue a client-facing, fast-paced role like the one at Cvent. Plus, the supportive community and mentorship from professors helped me recognize my strengths and align them with a career in tech sales."

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"Program Board (Sophmore-Mid Senior), Mens Rowing (Freshman Spring and Fall), The Hidden Opponent"

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"Some of the most meaningful highlights of my time at Catholic University came from the deep connections I built with the people around me. What started as classmates or acquaintances quickly grew into lifelong friendships—friends who became family. We supported each other through stressful weeks, celebrated the wins, and stood by one another during the tough moments. It wasn’t just the big events that made an impact, but also the everyday things—like saying hi to someone in the hallway, checking in on a peer, or sharing a laugh between classes. That simple, consistent sense of community shaped my experience in a powerful way. It taught me the value of showing up for others, of creating space for kindness, and of being part of something bigger than myself. Catholic gave me a place to grow not just academically, but as a person—and for that, I’ll always be grateful."

What advice do you have for students during their job search?

"My biggest advice for students during their job search is to lead with authenticity and persistence. Don’t be afraid to reach out to people—whether it’s alumni, professors, or professionals on LinkedIn. Most people genuinely want to help, and one conversation can open a lot of doors. Tailor your applications to show who you are, not just what you’ve done. Rejection is part of the process, so don’t take it personally—use it as fuel to keep going. And most importantly, trust that the right opportunity will find you if you stay consistent, open-minded, and true to yourself."
