Briefly describe your new job opportunity.
"I will be a Recruiter (Sales Trainee) at Medix. The Sales Trainee develops sales skills by learning the Medix recruitment process, generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and assisting experienced sales representatives in identifying and securing new business opportunities within their assigned territory, all while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare staffing industry and Medix's service offerings. I was also offered a Talent Coordinator Internship for the Spring where I will be completing 20 hour work weeks to prepare me for my full time role, because I am only taking one class in the spring."
How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?
"The Busch School, specifically the Sales Department, introduced me to so many people and opportunities that all led to me discovering my passion for sales. Through events like sales socials, career fairs, and guest speakers, I was able to connect with professionals in the industry who shared invaluable insights and advice. The personalized support from professors, specifically Professor Weber, helped me refine my skills and identify roles that align with my strengths and interests. Additionally, the hands-on experiences I gained through my summer internship at MiQ equipped me with the practical knowledge and confidence to excel in real-world situations."

"Women's Soccer team, SAAC, Phi Eta Sigma, Lambda Epsilon Omicron, Sales Ambassador"
What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?
"Being the captain of the women's soccer team."
What advice do you have for students during their job search?
"Network as much as you can, you never know who has a connection that can benefit you. And maintain and foster those connections - build relationships!"
