Lauren Connolly, CatholicU '25, is a Marketing student from Leesburg, Virginia. She accepted a job as a Marketing Coordinator at Carahsoft.

Briefly describe your new job opportunity.

"I will be working hand in hand with Adobe, marketing their Certification program to local, state, and federal government agencies."

How did your Busch School and Catholic University education help you find this career path?

"John Egan and Paul Radich really made me grow as a person. These professors were really the cornerstone of my growth as a student."

What activities were you involved in during undergrad?

"I was a Varsity Volleyball player for 2 years, a Student Philanthropy Council member."

What were some highlights of your time at Catholic University?

"I met my bestfriends Brittany Connatser, Jordyn DiCamillo, and Molly Maxwell. These girls pushed me to be the best version of myself and provided me support when my father was diagnosed with cancer. I would be nowhere without my them. My brother coming down to DC from Penn State to my Volleyball formal before he received his assignments to South Korea as an Army Intelligence Officer."

What advice do you have for students during their job search? 

"Ask for help. From anyone and everyone. If you get a no, you're one step closer to a yes. Embarrassment lasts an hour, the connections you make last a lifetime."
