Julian Gaspar, Ph.D. joined the faculty in 2020, bringing over 35 years of experience in international economics and finance to the Busch School. Prior to joining the Busch School, Dr. Gaspar served as the executive director of the Center for International Business Studies and director of the CIBER program at the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. In this role, he led the school's business education globalization efforts, provided strategic direction, and managed day-to-day operations of the Center. In addition to his storied career in higher education, Dr. Gaspar has served as an economist at the World Bank and a senior economist at Bank of America. He has written extensively in the field of international business, including the popular textbook "Introduction to Global Business", now in its second edition from Cengage.
